Built in 2011, the Ceres Way apartment community marks the fifth affordable housing community Jamboree has developed in the City of Fontana. Built on the site of an abandoned, bank-owned home and a trash-filled, weed-infested vacant lot, Ceres Way brings further revitalization to an area in San Bernardino County that was previously known primarily for public safety concerns. In contrast to the previously blighted area, Ceres Way now touts high quality two-story apartments with a townhome-style. Each home has its own patio. An acre-sized green space promotes community and resident interaction. Other amenities include playgrounds, pool and laundry facilities.
Jamboree’s Community Impact Group provides services to Ceres Way residents, as well as to residents of Jamboree’s four other communities in Fontana – Ceres Court, Citrus Grove, Hillcrest and Valencia Woods. Services are coordinated between developments, enabling residents from each community to participate in all programs.
Additionally, all of Jamboree’s communities in Fontana participate in the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program – a coalition of law enforcement, business owners/managers and residents committed to providing a safe living environment.
Jamboree maintains an ongoing public/private partnership with the City of Fontana to improve neighborhoods and offer affordable, well-designed and well-maintained housing choices to residents.
