Citrus Grove, a garden-style affordable family housing community – was Jamboree’s first community in the City of Fontana. Jamboree acquired and rehabilitated the property as a joint venture with FPI Management, a company dedicated to permanently preserving “at-risk” affordable housing communities originally developed under U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) financing and direct rental subsidy programs. Residents were temporarily relocated during the 2004 renovation.
Citrus Grove is located near five local schools, dining and shopping in San Bernardino County. Easy access to bus and rail lines makes commuting convenient. Four minutes from downtown, Citrus Grove is also only a mile from the award-winning Lewis Library and Technology Center. Services for residents are offered by Jamboree’s Community Impact Group.
As one of five Jamboree properties in the City of Fontana, Citrus Grove is part of the City’s Crime Free Multi-Housing Program – a coalition of law enforcement, business owners/managers and residents committed to providing a safe living environment. Jamboree and its partners – including the City of Fontana and FPI Management – are dedicated to preserving both Citrus Grove’s market-rate quality and affordability.
