Kristine Thalman has served on Jamboree’s advisory board since 2010. She is president and principal of K.E. Thalman & Associates, providing consulting services to the building industry, local government and business development for various real estate associates and trades. Previously, Kristine was the CEO of the Building Industry Association of Orange County (BIA/OC), where she managed the operations of the largest chapter – 900 member companies, representing 100,000+ employees in the Orange County homebuilding industry – of the BIA of Southern California. Kristine successfully led BIA/OC to many key “wins” in government advocacy, formed new committees, instituted new systems and policies to ensure BIA/OC’s financial health and helped stage numerous high quality BIA events.

Prior to joining the BIA/OC, Kristine served as Director of Local Government Affairs with KB Home, and her experiences shaped her understanding of the complex issues the residential construction industry faces today. She has also been involved as a board member on the Orange County Council of Governments, OC Housing Trust, OC Taxpayers Association, and OC Leadership Forum along with other women’s political leadership organizations.
